CTIA formed a business alliance with Fore-co., Ltd

Provide support for improved security in Web3

CTIA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CTIA”) is pleased to announce a business partnership with Fore-Z Co., Ltd(hereinafter referred to as “Fore-Z”), a company that provides cyber security solutions developed from the perspective of attackers and offers cyber security education at overseas academic institutions. Through this partnership, we aim to enhance the safety and reliability of the next-generation digital ecosystem by providing advanced solutions and promoting security literacy. As the first initiative, we will provide support and advisory services to improve the security of Web3 services by utilizing the bug bounty platform “ZoneZero,” developed and operated by Fore-Z.

Web3 projects and bug bounty programs share common principles of “decentralization” and “community engagement.” The decentralized nature of Web3 aligns perfectly with the distributed model of bug bounty programs that do not rely on a single entity and contributes to more effective security assessments. Both emphasize community participation, with bug bounty programs leveraging the skills of security researchers worldwide, while Web3 projects depend on decentralized, community-driven development and governance.

Currently, the Web3 industry is experiencing multiple security incidents that impact the entire community. These incidents range from the theft of digital assets and hacking to attacks exploiting vulnerabilities in smart contracts. Notably, fraudulent activities on decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms and scams in NFT marketplaces have significantly undermined user trust. Furthermore, the overall lack of sufficient awareness and investment in security measures within the Web3 industry exacerbates these issues.

To address these pressing security challenges in the Web3 sector, CTIA has entered into a business partnership with Fore-Z. Through this collaboration, we will apply Fore-Z’s expertise in cyber security to CTIA’s strengths in the Web3 domain, thereby providing enhanced safety and reliability to Web3 services.

About the Bug Bounty Platform “ZONE ZERO”

A bug bounty is a system where security experts and white-hat hackers identify vulnerabilities in systems or software provided by companies or organizations and are rewarded for reporting this information.

*Free forever until the bug is found

“ZONE ZERO” is a security platform service monitored by highly skilled white-hat hackers worldwide. Users can register for free* and the service provides cybersecurity measures without incurring running costs. By combining it with regular vulnerability assessments and other similar services, it functions as an out-of-schedule inspection and is expected to discover “unknown vulnerabilities” that are difficult to detect with vulnerability assessments. This helps in preparing against cyber attacks.

From pre-implementation consultation to the start of use, security engineers provide continuous support. After registration and service initiation, Zone Zero receives reports from white-hat hackers registered on the platform, reviews the report contents, and reports to the customer. At that time, customers are required to verify the contents, determine the reward amount, and fix the vulnerabilities as needed.
